I'm moving in....SO WATCH OUT FOR THE TRAFFIC!!!
Sonia Joey Lancaster's (AKA the Cookie) Private Territory |
This property was reserved by sonia25 I just want to meet fresh scenery, people and places to meet. I don't like to stick around in the same place for too long. But no matter where I wind up at, I'll still always come back to this great city that I happen to love so much! Now, enough of the chit-chat, let's get down to business: DON'T YOU EVEN DARE THINK OF TAKING OVER MY SPACE OR ELSE! A No-Trespassing Sign will be hung out on my front porch. Pardon the dust, as you can see-traffic will be at a standstill every now and then. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
This gal aspires to do the following when I get settled down in my new digs: Be a licensed/armed private investigator (no bodyguard work allowed-too dangerous and I'm not about to take a bullet for anybody). My qualifications as to why I would make an excellent supervisory parole agent, you might ask yourself? Well, I have excellent research skills in the field of law enforcement like constitutional (civil rights) and criminal law. I love case law-it fascinates me like crazy! I also have time management and extreme organizational skills as well as being cost efficent. In other words, I don't like to waste-especially in government where it's rampant! And I don't like to waste time either. Become a certified bail recovery agent, sometimes-they're known as skip tracers or bounty hunters; My main goal is to become a supervisory parole agent. First, I'll go in as a correctional officer. Do my 2 years apprenticeship and then afterwards, kick it over to the parole sector. If I had it my way, I'd like to work at either San Quentin or Corcoran State Prison. I would like to see what's it like to work up close with Death Row inmates if I ever get the chance. And, since CSP been rated as the most "deadliest prison in America." How bad can it be, I say? I mean I would like to see how I myself would work under those conditions. Of course, we never know when we'll ever come across some situations like that, until one has been there. I mean this is no little game here-we always hear about cliques amongst co-workers and how everyone will react to the problems. Well, all I know is that I love controversial topics. I don't shy away from them at all. For example, I have a questioning mind and I'm always asking questions-I like to go into the realm of the unknown. Like sex offenders, serial killers and the likes. Don't worry, I will guarantee you all that I will not use the tricks of the trade in my major okay? Currently majoring in Administration of Justice, Corrections and Human Services. In terms of my education-I aim to obtain a Master's in both Criminal Justice Management and Social Work from CSU Los Angeles and Long Beach or Dominguez Hills. I plan on becoming POST certified by the summer of '99-seems like Pasadena City College is the place where I'll get it at. I also want to finish up the Corrections on-line classes from Rio Hondo College and be POST certified in those areas. I just want to get the work out of the way, that way, when I do get accepted into the CO academy at Gault, CA-I can focus on other classes. Plus, of course, I get more bonus points as well as higher pay! Not bad, huh? Currently, undergoing my CO (correctional officer) process with the CDC Southern Testing Center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I don't see negative in reaching for that position-I see positive. So, no egos please! My God, you won't believe how many egos I come across. Have you ever seen the male egos in action-humph!!! They sure are a sight to see, but it's definitely worse when a female develops one though. | Temporarily away on business, but do keep on reading!
